Need the most essential facts about finding reliable reimbursement for telepractice? Want a quick overview of the ABC’s of setting up your own telemental health practice?

Telehealth care is advancing and growing at an incredible pace as technology increases the capacity to reach rural and underserved populations. There are many options for mental health professionals to start and develop their telemental health careers.

Establishing a telemental health practice generally requires 3 to 9 months, if you know the ropes. This program will provide a broad view of how to get started, and help you decide if telepractice is for you a successful practice and reliable reimbursement.

Shawna Wright, Ph.D., L.P., is a licensed psychologist and owner of Wright Psychological Services, where she works as private practice telepsychologist in both Kansas and Nebraska. Her telepractice includes service to patients of a variety of ages and disabilities in nursing homes through Forefront Telecare. She soon will also be working with a rural hospital in Western Kansas providing outpatient telepsych services through their telehealth clinic.
