Alaska Counselor/Therapist CE Requirements
How many CEs does Alaska require?
- LPCs are required 40 hours every two years, 20 of which may be completed by home study.
- MFTs are required 45 hours every two years, 22 of which may be completed by home study.
How many Ethics & Law CEs does Alaska require?
- LPC – 3 Hours in every 2 years.
- MFT – 2 Hours in every 2 years.
Other CE Requirements
- For MFT – Requirements every renewal include:
- Two (2) hours in addictions;
- Two (2) hours in cross cultural education; and Two (2) hours in issues related to domestic violence.
