The Telebehavioral Health Institute (TBHI) is delighted to announce that it has met all requirements set forth by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) for Continuing education (CE) hours to be applicable toward licensure requirements for professional education. This national approval is now one of four that have been earned by TMHI since its launch in 2009; for physicians (AMA), psychologists (APA), counselors (NBCC) and now, social workers. This large group of professionals can enjoy the many benefits of learning and networking through the TMHI, knowing that their training will be recognized as valid for their state licensure renewals.

ASWB Approves CE Hours for Social Workers

The official wording of this approval for social workers is as follows:

TeleMental Health Institute, Inc., #1328, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Telebehavioral Health Institute, Inc. maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 11/18/2015 – 11/18/2016. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.
