If you’re looking for a 1-stop-convention for telehealth and telemedicine in 2015, consider joining me at the ATA’s annual meeting, planned for May 2-5, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 S Figueroa Street, LA, CA 90015, (213) 741-1151 by the STAPLES Center and Nokia Theatre. ATA hosts the world‘s largest scientific meeting and exposition focusing exclusively on telemedicine, telehealth and mHealth. The ATA Annual Meeting is the premier exhibiting venue for companies looking to promote their remote medical products and services to a dedicated group of professionals. The telemental health special interest group (TMH SIG) at ATA is one of the largest in the world. On a more personal note, I’ll be speaking at this ATA meeting on Sunday, May 3rd at the half-day event sponsored by the Telemental Health Special Interest Group (SIG). That program is a half-day workshop and is entitled, Telemental Health Part I: Delivering Great Care, Getting Paid, and Avoiding Legal Problems. My second presentation is with some of my colleagues, David Luxton PhD and Eve-Lynn Nelson, PhD, with whom I just completed the manuscript for a textbook to be printed by American Psychological Association. The title of that book is, Telemental Health Best Practices, and it should be released later this year. The ATA presentation with Drs. Luxton and Nelson is scheduled as:
