PsychotechnologiesAs for the development of the psychotechnologies needed for expanding promote telemental health care, the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) has been bringing  together vendors, researchers and clinicians from all medical disciplines from around the world since 1993. They have been actively developing both technologies and protocols that share synergies to improve the responsible reach and efficacy of health care to larger and larger populations. They’ve made remarkable strides and will continue to do so.

The interest in developing these technologies is so strong this year that the ATA’s upcoming May 2010 convention in San Antonio boasts 100% expansion of their exhibitor space. They’ve had to rent from 100,000 ft. to 200,000 ft. to accommodate demand. Much of that space is already sold out, so the exhibit hall will be abuzz.

Have a look at the ATA website brochure for details — and join me there! I’ll be addressing legal and ethical issues in a panel presentation with Dr. Peter Yellowlees and attorney Joseph McMenamin. For the the title of my talk and the rest of my speaking schedule, look at my bio page.
