TeleMental Health Institute Affiliates with Telehealth Institute to Launch Free DCC TrainingThe TeleMental Health Institute (TMHI) is delighted to announce its affiliation with the Telehealth Institute (TI), a California-based non-profit, 501(3)(c). As such, it is designed to research and develop evidence-based training materials and resources; best practice criteria as per an affiliation with groups such as the Coalition for Technology in Behavioral Science (CTiBS); and offer free webinars, other educational events and free services to the behavioral community of professionals and the people they serve.
TMHI is proud to announce that in collaboration with TI as the content producers, they produced their first free training to the telemental health community on February 24, with the Webinar entitled Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC): Who, What, When, Where & How? A free CE Hour was included in the package for all registrants as per their respective state licensing board requirements. Registrations for the program reached one of the highest ever hosted by TMHI, with 308 registrants. Free access to this webinar will continue through TMHI’s webpage above for all professionals interested in earning the DCC credential.

Together, TMHI and TI are dedicated to developing engaging educational events that provide guidance, resources and other support for planning, launching and thriving with legal and ethical models of telepsychiatry, telepsychology, distance counseling, online therapy, behavioral telehealth and mhealth.
