The In-Depth Certificate training is best for you if you need to do all the above on your own, without an IT department, legal office, billing staff or clinical staff or supervisors to help you think through the issues. The In-Depth program will help you choose your technology, decide whether or not to use videoconferencing, email, text-messaging and other technologies; set up your virtual office and clinical protocols to follow current telepractice guidelines and learn how to get paid for your services.
You can access legal and ethical solutions related to areas such as choice of technology, confidentiality and privacy, HIPAA, HITECH, Skype, licensure, informed consent, preventing and handling emergencies, practice-building, reimbursement and more. Whichever TMHI Certificate program you choose, you will meet all DCC requirements.
Your certificate will be valid for 5 years
NOTE: Candidates who have completed their degrees from a school outside of the United States must have their degree evaluated by an international transcript evaluation service and submit the results to CCE with the application. If you have additional questions regarding the credential, contact the CCE.
