These evidence-based educational lectures are structured to augment physician expertise with current guidelines, materials and recommendations, as well as up-to-date advances in medical treatment on specific topics.
New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing education for DO physicians. NJAOPS designates these educational activities for Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Method of Participation:
For successful completion of an activity and subsequent awarding of credits, individuals are required to participate in the entire activity, complete an attestation form, pass a post-test and an activity evaluation form. Certificates are then immediately printable from the telehealth.org website.

Through TBHI’s accreditation by the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) have approved the TBHI training for CME hours. Nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses can then, use the AMA or AOA accreditation of these courses for their requirements if a request is made to the licensing board. Additionally, TBHI courses are formally approved in California and similarly approved for licensure renewal requirements by most other states through our co-sponsorship with Alliant University. Please identify yourself by writing to TBHI here as a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or nurse prior to taking TBHI courses so as to be certain to have all the needed materials to meet specialized approvals.
Licensing Board Renewals. Most state boards accept offerings accredited by national or other state organizations. If your discipline or state is not listed, please check with your professional licensing board to determine whether the accreditations listed are accepted. In many cases, they will be.
Please verify the appropriateness of TBHI training for your needs by contacting your state/provincial board or your state/provincial professional organization. Some state and provincial regulations are in flux, complex and can be confusing. For certificate training or combinations of individual courses: All TBHI core courses are approved for CME and CE hours. However, your state may have limits on how many eLearning hours you can apply to your renewal. Also, different states call it different things. They might refer to online training as online training, eLearning, Internet training, web courses, digital courses, electronic courses, etc. Please check with your state if you are uncertain of their requirements. For webinars, some states require that you attend webinars as a LIVE participant if you seek CME or CE hours. Others allow you to watch the recording on-demand, as long as you complete the course requirements of a post-test and course evaluation.
