Description
If you are challenged to work with children and youth to deliver pediatric telemedicine or telehealth, you are not alone. Many clinicians who are comfortable providing services in person are at a loss when a child plays off-screen, refuses to speak or participate, becomes emotional, or simply walks out of the room. Although much research has been published and guidelines for serving children and youth through telebehavioral health have been promulgated, much of that information has been difficult to most clinicians to find or implement day-to-day with manageable workflows.
Whether you want to practice telehealth, teletherapy, telepsychology, telepsychiatry, telebehavioral health, teleoccupational health, telespeech therapy, or telemental health, this training will show you how.
This program is designed to answer your questions and give you the skinny on where to go to get the information you need, what to do, and how to document your activities. Led by a pioneering telehealth thought leader, this program invites you to get answers to these questions:

- How can published telebehavioral health competencies help me deliver my telehealth services more easily?
You will be given the rules of the road, how they can legally and ethically be modified, who needs to know what, how, and when they need to know it. You will be given instructions for where and how to get key pediatric telehealth and telemedicine documents you’ll want to have at your fingertips. This much-needed program involves case-based learning to help you quickly manage the transition from theory to evidence-based practice.
