This course will guide you through fundamental legal, ethical, clinical, technical, and reimbursement strategies for leveraging your services with the power and reach of 21st Century technology.
This program will also:
- Expose you to the basics of online assessment
- Explain safe and effective ways you can handle telehealth emergencies
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about practicing across state lines
- Explain HIPAA, and HITECH regulations
- Outline the specific technologies you can and your patients/clients can use

Dr. Pulier has been a Board Certified psychiatrist since the early 1970s and has worked as a clinician, researcher, administrator and teacher. He was the Medical Psychiatric Director for a multi-state managed care division of PruCare and co-founded and co-directed a private multidisciplinary mental health clinic tailored for managed care needs. He designed and constructed a novel affordable computer-controlled all-electronic tachistoscope and served as PhD thesis adviser for a Fairleigh Dickenson University graduate student using this instrument to investigate backward masking phenomena in schizophrenia. |
