The Telebehavioral Health Institute (TBHI) has pulled out all the stops to give you an evidence-based, competency-based, 4-hour telehealth training focused on Telebehavioral Clinical Best Practices for COVID-19.
This live, interactive, legal and ethical, best-practices, telehealth workshop will give you a deep dive into clinical, evidence-based models, tips and strategies for telehealth practice. You’ll also get an update on COVID-19 regulatory and reimbursement changes.
You will participate in a clear discussion of “dos and don’ts” along with their rationales, allowing you to make your own clinical decisions for the people that you serve. Basic competencies covered include documentation requirements, safety protocols and how to effectively involve family members or friends.
The program is relevant to practitioners who have quickly transitioned to telehealth practice, and now are trying to adapt their clinical approaches using telehealth with their clients and patients. Whether you are conducting individual sessions, family or group sessions, case management, emergency assessments or medication management, you may be struggling to see how the discrepancies between in-person care and telehealth can be resolved. It is intended to give practicing professionals and their supervisors, managers and directors a brief, practical way to leverage a variety of technologies with a focus on video conferencing. This telehealth training can serve as immediately-available, live-interactive guidance to practitioners needing to quickly get organized to serve clients and patients during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency.
The program is appropriate for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, addictions professionals, physicians’ assistants, speech therapists, occupational therapists and other licensed professionals.

Post-test need to be passed with a grade of 80% or better to get the course completion certificate. (You will have learned a lot, and passing should be no problem. Of more than 8,600 trainees that have come through our doors, only three needed help with post-tests.)
TBHI “classes” have no specific start and stop time. All online training is self-paced, accessible 24/7 through your web browser. You are free to train anytime, from anywhere. If your client/patient doesn’t show for their appointment, you can easily engage with your materials online, or in printed form. If you wish to complete all your training in a weekend, a week, a month or over several months – the choice is yours.
Checklists and summaries can be copied and printed. Video/audio segments require an active Internet connection. Course evaluations and post-tests must be completed online. All registrations have an access period of at least 6 months from the date of purchase, except for All Access Pass users, who are given a full 12-month access period.
